I woke up as usual. My eye squinted from the bright light. I got out of bed and went to the kitchen. Mom was making morning smoothies. I went into my Mom and Dad's room. My dad was still fast asleep. The light was on in the bathroom. My sister Elly was awake. She turned the light off and her tiny little body came into view. She passed me and went into the kitchen. I walked into the closet looking for a shirt. At first I could not find any shirts that I wanted to wear. Then I saw it. The shirt I was going to wear. It was my black shirt with a rainbow pony on it. My friend Lily gave it to me for my birthday. Then I slipped the T-shirt on and went out the door of my Mom and my Dad's room. I walked into the kitchen and I remembered that my cousin Taylor, also known by Tay Tay, stayed the night. I was heading over to say good morning then I also remembered that I had to say good morning to my cat Tooley. Her real name is Toothless Katniss Roell.
